As one grows older, one tends to think that cronic stress is part of ageing but that need not be so. Ms Salome Kraamwinkel from Ageless Grace, spoke to the seniors about acute and cronic stress and what can be done to alleviate anxiety and live a more productive and happy life. Paramount to this is exercise and Ms Kraamwinkel showed the members just how easy and enjoyable this can be. She had them in stitches of laughter with her impersonation of a chicken and playing all sorts of sports while exercising the whole body. Just 20 minutes a day can do the trick to lessen stress. As always it was a pleasure to have her talk to the seniors and she will now visit the Centre monthly to work with them.
