It was the 9th year that the seniors of Tygerberg Service Centre were the beneficiaries of the goodwill of the members of The Edge Church Cell Group. Mr Vernon Solomon, leader of the group, is a very prominent business man and very active in his community. He and his team every year still finds the time to canvass amongst his fellow business men and worshippers to fill 2 bags of groceries and other goodies for the seniors. It is very heart-warming to know that there is still so much compassion for the elderly. While everybody waited for a sumptuous lunch, they were entertained by Johan Rosseau with a very wide variety of old favourites as well as some very loved Christmas songs.
