A donation of 21 tons of non-perishable food was offloaded at Tygerberg Meals on Wheels which became the storage place for the Dept of Social Development. In Afrikaans they say “vele hande maak ligte werk” and this is exactly what happened. We asked a few people to help and issued permits so that they could come and help to offload the truck so that the food could be distributed to the needy.
