Through the grace of God and the kind donations from caring citizens and companies, we are able to provide our services to over 5000 people.
Servicing the Community since 1969

Since 21 January 1969, the Tygerberg Service Centre has distributed more than 1,3 million meals. Line up these containers, filled with warm, balanced meals, and you would have a food chain stretching from Cape Town to Johannesburg, and back to Three Sisters! Our main goal is to keep the elderly active in their communities for as long as possible and to address poverty in the community through sustainable feeding schemes and other services.

A Donation Plea

The Tygerberg Service centre and Meals on Wheels need your help! Our kombi was badly damaged by a fire, and has been written off. We cannot continue to deliver our much needed services with only one vehicle and the insurance money received will not cover the purchase of a new vehicle. To date we have distributed 71 139 meals this year, and we don’t intend to slow down. If you or someone you know might be able to make a donation to help us replace our vehicle, please contact us.
